SonaKrete, as with any spray acoustic finish, should not be used in areas where there is prolonged exposure to water or heat in excess of 150 degrees F (65 C); nor should it be applied to areas requiring a washable surface or where combustible contaminates such as dust, oil, etc. exist. Accumulations of these contaminates may provide a fuel source which could burn when ignited and cause the fire to spread.
